On the 13th of July 2021, WooCommerce announced a critical vulnerability that affects ALL WooCommerce stores under version 5.5.1. If your website is set up to use WordPress auto updates then you are safe already. All of our online stores use WooCommerce. If you already one of our clients, you can be safe in the knowledge, that we have updated your online store.

However, there are 1000s of websites online that will not auto update. If you are one of those websites then please update today or contact us for help in doing so. This update is ESSENTIAL. You are leaving your website open to hackers if you do not perform the update.

How do I update WooCommerce

  • Log in to the backend of you website
  • Go to “Plugins” and select “Installed Plugins”
  • Scroll down until you find WooCommerce and simply click update now.
